Our laboratory has received approval from Director General of Department of Standards Malaysia to continue accreditation after successfully complied all MS ISO 17025 : 2017 and SAMM requirements in transition assessment, conducted on last 13 August 2019.

Our laboratory successfully completed the recent PT programme FODNA 3-19 for Detection of Porcine DNA in Beef organised by Department of Chemistry Malaysia. Another PT programme for KHV testing organised by Vetqas was also successfully passed. We always striving to be the best and reliable testing partner.

Successful Transition to ISO 17025 : 2017

The Department of Standards Malaysia (DSM) conducted a surveillance assessment yesterday and concluded our quality management system meets ISO 17025 : 2017 requirements. Congratulations to the team for their dedication, hard work and passion. We continuously strive to provide excellent and reliable testing services to all clients.
Delegation Visit by World Fish Organisation (WFO)

On the 11th and 12th of June, Dr. Jerome and Ms. Mahirah from WorldFish Organisation (WFO) visited our laboratory to observe our test method for TiLV detection. During the two-day visit, we explored potential opportunities to collaborate in projects, and discussed ways to move things forward in the aquaculture sector.

We are pleased to announce that our laboratory has successfully completed the Proficiency Testing program 2019 organised by Aquaculture Pathology Laboratory of University of Arizona. We correctly detect all major shrimp pathogens TSV, IMNV, YHV, NHPB, WSSV, AHPND, EHP & IHHNV. We are honoured to receive a 5 man delegation from the Aquatics and Marine Pest Section, Animal Biosecurity to our office and laboratory. The delegation is on a fact finding mission to assess and verify Malaysia has implemented the Australia Biosecurity SOPs for shrimp pre-export testing covering sampling strategy and test methods.
